Lab Technician & Research Assistant

We are looking for an on site Lab Technician & Research Assistant to join our growing team. IRIS is and advanced engineering specialized in process monitoring and control solutions, as well as novel technologies for process optimization. Requirements:

• Certificate of Higher Education in Laboratory Sciences or a Degree in Biology, Food Science & Technology or similar.
• Experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, DSC, microscopy, etc.
• Expertise in microbiological analysis techniques.
• Equipment maintenance, management of sample and reagent inventory.
• Result oriented, versatile, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, curious attitude.
• Knowledge of GLP and/or ISO 17025.
• An advanced level of English is a must.

Additional skills:

• Skilled in statistical software tools and DoE.
• Hands on experience in physico-chemical analysis of food products.
• Experience with bioreactors or biotech-related techniques (PCR, western blot, etc).
