Project Manager (on site- area Zaragoza)

At Quintas Energy, we are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Contruction to join our Quintas Advisory team and support the supervision of a photovoltaic construction project located in the province of Zaragoza.

The selected person will play a key role in ensuring that construction activities are executed in line with project plans, technical specifications, quality standards and schedule requirements, acting as a point of coordination between site contractors, engineering teams and project management.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, technical specifications and schedule.
• Carry out on-site inspections of work quality, including electrical installations, communications and SCADA systems.
• Verify that on-site works are aligned with approved designs, drawings and engineering specifications.
• Ensure the correct handling and installation of photovoltaic components, including modules, inverters and transformer centres.
• Implement and monitor quality control standards throughout the construction phases.
• Verify that materials and equipment meet the required quality standards and technical specifications.
• Identify, document and report deficiencies, quality issues, non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams and project management to resolve technical or quality-related issues.
• Provide regular progress updates, highlighting potential delays, risks or deviations from project specifications.
• Conduct final inspections before sign-off and support the preparation of handover documentation, including inspection reports, certifications and operational handover documentation.
• Support post-construction activities and final adjustments required for the commissioning of the photovoltaic plant.

• Degree in Engineering or Construction, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision in photovoltaic projects.
• Previous experience in utility-scale photovoltaic projects or similar renewable energy projects.
• Solid knowledge of construction and installation processes in solar plants, including electrical works, communications and SCADA systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and approved project documentation.
• Experience in on-site quality inspection, electrical installation review and equipment handling supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with contractors, engineers and project management teams.
• Availability to visit the project site in Zaragoza province one day per week during the construction phase.
