Global Category Manager for Contract Manufacturing

Job Summary

In this strategic role, you will define and execute the global sourcing strategy for contract manufacturing, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and quality across all regions. You’ll act as a key partner to the business, optimizing the external manufacturing network while supporting growth and innovation.

What you’ll do:

• Own and drive the global category strategy for contract manufacturing (tolling)
• Lead sourcing initiatives (RFI/RFP, negotiations) and deliver year-over-year value
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance (cost, quality, service)
• Optimize manufacturing footprint (make vs. buy, capacity, risk mitigation)
• Partner with Operations, R&D, Quality, and Commercial teams globally
• Support product launches, scale-ups, and external innovation with suppliers
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience in strategic sourcing / procurement (8+ years)
• Background in contract manufacturing, food ingredients, chemicals, or similar industries
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills in a global environment
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities
