We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer / Developer to join our collaborative and friendly BI team. In this role, you will take ownership of the full data lifecycle, transforming raw data into actionable insights that empower data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Location: Verisure Tech Hub - Alicante.

The Opportunity:

As a BI Engineer, you will play a key role in building and optimizing our modern data platform. You will work end-to-end—from data ingestion to dashboard delivery—ensuring stakeholders have access to trusted, high-quality insights.

You will collaborate closely with a skilled and supportive BI team, contributing to a culture of teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to work with a best-in-class data stack and have a real impact on business decisions.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Data Engineering & Modeling

• Build and optimize end-to-end BI pipelines (ELT, Kimball modeling)
• Design scalable and efficient data models
• Write advanced, high-performance SQL

Analytics & Delivery

• Deliver trusted, user-friendly dashboards that drive business decisions
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and usability across the organisation

Collaboration & Best Practices

• Work closely with stakeholders across the full data lifecycle
• Collaborate with teammates using Git and strong engineering practices
• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Tech Stack

• Snowflake | Matillion | dbt | Power BI | Git

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data warehousing
• Strong SQL expertise and experience in BI development
• Proven ownership across the full pipeline: ingestion to dashboard delivery
• Experience working in Scrum-based Agile teams
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value
