As Product Owner - UI/UX Product Configurator tool in the Digital Sales Hub, your primary responsibility will be to guide users through their configuration journey. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience by ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our configurations’ possibilities.

To ensure that our improvements are aligned with user needs, you will rely on data analytics and a customer-centric approach to UX/Design. By leveraging these insights, you will drive enhancements in the right direction, ensuring that the configurator tool remain cutting-edge and user-friendly.

Tasks

• Responsible for the UI/UX of the configurator tool on the Festo website.
• Enhance and optimize the UI and UX of the configurator tool to improve search accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with the team responsible for the Product configuration.
• Collaboration with the analytics team, the UX/UI team, the CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) team and the other Product Owners of Digital Sales
• Utilize data analytics to gain insights into user behavior and preferences.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the UI/UX.
• Ensure a seamless integration of the configurator tool with other website features.
• Advise local companies on the use of new back-office functions and features.
  
  

Skills & Interests

• Engineering, computer science/IT, business informatics or similar studies.
• Strong technical understanding / “Passion for Festo’s Business and Products”.
• Basic understanding of computer science/IT.
• Analytical interests.
• High customer orientation.
• Fluent in English.
• Good communication skills and team-oriented work.

• Experience working with agile methodology (Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience in UX Methods (e.g., A/B Testing, Design Thinking, Crowd Testing).
• First experience as a product owner.
