Within IFF, the Plant Cost Analysis organization plays a critical role in supporting Operations and Finance by driving transparency, productivity, and cost excellence across our manufacturing footprint.

The Plant Cost Analyst role is based in [location] ([onsite / hybrid]). You will join a collaborative, analytical, and performance‑driven team where partnership with plant leadership and operations is key to delivering impact. Your potential is our inspiration.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

Act as a financial business partner to Plant Managers and local leadership, providing clear insights into operational and cost performance

Analyze production, fabrication, and unit costs, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities

Monitor and verify market price changes and assess their impact on product and manufacturing costs

Coordinate and analyze product cost development, standard costing, and productivity initiatives

Support the monthly Integrated Operations Review, including variance analysis and performance explanations

Lead and coordinate the monthly production cost variance forecast in close collaboration with plant leadership

Prepare detailed monthly plant reporting using global financial tools combined with plant‑specific analysis

Support the annual plant budget process, focusing on cost, capacity, and impact on final product pricing

Control and validate process orders, physical inventories, and material movements (local and imported)

Maintain strong internal controls, governance of material master data, and compliance with business ethics

Actively contribute to global and regional Plant Cost Analysis projects, including process and IT tool improvements

What Makes You the Right Fit

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Engineering

Experience or strong exposure to manufacturing, plant finance, or cost analysis environments

Solid understanding of standard costing and production cost structures

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights

Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP), Business Warehouse, and Microsoft Office tools

Ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain

Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior plant stakeholders

High level of control awareness, integrity, and commitment to internal controls

Fluent in English and the local language
