About Our Client

With a solid track record in the market and a business model focused on service excellence, logistics management, and strategic alliances with global manufacturers , the Group is currently consolidating and expanding its international presence.

To lead this key growth phase, we are looking to onboard a General Manager for their subsidiaries in France and Italy.

Job Mission

To design, lead, and implement the general strategy for the companies in France and Italy, aligned with the Group's vision and guidelines. Working closely with the Group CEO, you will establish short, medium, and long-term objectives, ensuring the sustainable development of the business, profitability, and competitive positioning of both companies by coordinating local General Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: Define the short, medium, and long-term business strategy, objectives, and plans alongside the Group CEO.
  • Management Committee: Propose budgets, investment plans, and strategic priorities to the Management Committee.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor the financial, accounting, and performance situation (sales, margins, profitability).
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Management Committee's decisions and Group policies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and evaluate the performance of the General Managers of France and Italy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement, organizational efficiency, and business development.
  • Corporate Culture: Promote the Group's corporate culture, values, and governance standards.
  • Cross-Functional Projects: Participate in and/or lead strategic and cross-functional projects at the Group level.

Country-Level Responsibilities (France & Italy):

  • Operational Supervision: Oversee the correct execution of approved strategies and plans in France and Italy.
  • KPI Tracking: Monitor key commercial, operational, and people-related KPIs.
  • Business Development: Drive commercial growth and market positioning by participating in strategic client management and relationships with key suppliers and partners.
  • Corporate Image: Ensure the proper implementation of the corporate image and the company's reputation.
  • Institutional Representation: Represent the company before third parties (key clients, suppliers, trade fairs, international events, and forums).
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with legal regulations and internal Group procedures through the local General Managers.

Profile Required

Educational & Training Requirements:

  • Degree: University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Postgraduate: An MBA or Master’s in Management is highly valued.
  • Languages:
  • English: High level / Fluent (Essential).
  • French: High level / Fluent (Essential).
  • Italian: Valued.

Experience and Expertise:

  • Track Record: Minimum of 10 years of experience in General Management or Senior Executive roles.
  • Environment: Proven experience in international environments and managing multi-country organizations.
  • Sector: Experience in B2B distribution of technical or industrial products, with experience in related sectors such as climatization, HVAC, construction, energy, or similar being highly preferred.
  • Business Model: Deep knowledge of the distribution business model, including catalog management, logistics, supply chain, and relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading executive teams.
  • Mobility: High availability to travel internationally (France, Italy, and Spain).
