The RoleAs Operations Manager, you will be responsible for running the full operational side of Polo Valley — ensuring all departments function at a high level, internal processes are followed, and client experiences are consistently excellent.This is a leadership role for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced, high-standard environments.

You'll work closely with the CEO to implement systems, manage staff, and raise the bar across every area of the business — from hospitality to horse care, events to HR.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee the smooth day-to-day running of all departments (hospitality, stables, grounds, events, etc.

)Ensure clear coordination between teams and consistent communication across departmentsAnticipate issues and prevent last-minute crises through planning and disciplineLead weekly operations meetings and ensure task follow-throughProcess & Systems ImplementationCreate and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) across all areasTrain team members on protocols and ensure full understanding and complianceIdentify inefficiencies and introduce practical, scalable solutionsHR ManagementOversee team structure, scheduling, and staffing needsManage recruitment, onboarding, reviews, staff development, and (when needed) dismissals in coordination with HR Assistant.Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and uphold internal policy standardsFoster a strong, values-driven culture of respect, performance, and accountabilityClient Experience & Service DeliveryEnsure all client-facing elements meet the high standards expected of the Polo Valley brandWork closely with front-of-house and hospitality teams to maintain consistency across all guest touchpointsSupport with the execution of polo tournaments, VIP visits, and lifestyle eventsReporting & AccountabilityProvide weekly operational reports and updates to the Managing DirectorTrack team performance and task execution across departmentsManage inventory, costs, and operational budgets in coordination with AdminIdeal Candidate Profile3–7 years of experience in hospitality operations, property/lifestyle management, or high-end resort/club environmentsStrong leadership and people management skills; confident handling HR responsibilitiesExcellent organisational skills and a highly structured, systems-driven approachComfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on problem solvingClear communicator with fluency in English & SpanishCalm under pressure, solutions-focused, and committed to high standardsWhat We OfferA competitive salary tailored to experience and capabilityOpportunity to work in one of Europe's most unique lifestyle environmentsClose collaboration with leadership and exposure to business-wide strategyClear career growth potential as the business expandsA dynamic, ambitious, and values-led teamTo Apply: Please send your CV and a short cover email to ****** with the subject line: Operations Manager Application – Polo Valley
