The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Manager to oversee, manage, and coordinate all the mobile development initiatives.. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management responsibilities, focusing mostly on applications used by aircrew members to perform in-flight retail sales.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Lead and manage a diverse team of in-house engineers and contractors
• Oversee the development and maintenance of our mobile applications portfolio
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute to the development
• Manage application architecture and technical decision-making
• Oversee certificate management, particularly in iOS environments
• Coordinate integration of third-party hardware and libraries
• Drive technical excellence and best practices in mobile development
  
  

Requirements:

Technically

• Proven experience in mobile engineering leadership roles
• Strong hands-on experience with native mobile development (Android and/or iOS)
• Deep understanding of mobile application architecture principles
• Extensive knowledge of deployment strategies for both Android and iOS platforms
• Experience with iOS certificate management and provisioning
• It’s a plus experience integrating external hardware (e.g., Bluetooth devices, payment systems, IOT devices, etc.)
• Strong people management and team leadership skills
• Experience working with third-party libraries and SDK integrations
• It’s a plus experience with React Native development
• It’s a plus background in payments, aviation, and/or travel industry applications
