Key Responsibilties

  • System Installation & Commissioning: Install, start-up, and commission robot vision systems at customer sites in the Automotive industry, ensuring they function according to specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Determine and execute corrective actions for installation errors, customer-specific changes, or unforeseen challenges, coordinating with your supervisor as necessary.
  • Customer Interaction: Manage customer relationships by meeting scheduling expectations, addressing their concerns, and handling delays or project changes with professionalism and tact.
  • Technical Communication: Collaborate and communicate with Product Management and R&D teams to relay feedback, provide technical insight, and help drive continuous improvement of products.
  • Reporting: Document and report system status, job progress, and any technical issues to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Customer Support & Training: Provide training to customers on the operation and maintenance of the system, ensuring they can confidently use and care for the technology.
  • System Analysis & Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth system analysis, identify technical issues, and troubleshoot to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Maintenance & Service: Conduct routine service, maintenance, system checks, and optimizations of installed systems, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.

Personal Profile

  • Engineer or Engineering technician - mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or automation engineering (or comparable qualification)
  • Proven experience in system installation, commissioning, and maintenance, preferebly in the Automotive or industrial robot sector
  • Strong technical expertise in automation, robotiics or vision systems
  • Excellent problem-solviing abilities and experience with troubleshooting complex systems
  • Proficient iin reading and interpreting technical manuals and instruction guides
  • Driver's license / Willingsness to travel at least 50 % of the time after training
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work well with customers and internal teams
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
