Our team thrives on creativity, collaboration, and a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of mobile technology Role and Responsibilities As a Senior Mobile Developer at Utopia.ai, you will play a leading role in designing and developing high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS. Working closely with cross-functional teams (including product managers, designers, and AI engineers), you will integrate AI capabilities into our apps to deliver exceptional user experiences. This is a full-time, on-site position in Logroño, Spain, and your key responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain mobile applications for both Android (using Kotlin) and iOS (using Swift) from concept to deployment Implement and optimize communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, serial communication) within mobile apps to enable smooth connectivity with external devices Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to integrate AI features and ensure seamless performance and an exceptional user experience Write clean, modular, and scalable code following best practices, and perform thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality standards Troubleshoot and debug issues, continuously improving application performance and reliability Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering best practices in mobile development and code quality Required Qualifications We are looking for a passionate developer with a strong background in mobile development and a drive for innovation. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements: Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development for Android and iOS Technical Skills: Proficiency in Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS development Communication Protocols: Solid experience working with communication protocols such as Bluetooth and serial communication Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) Expertise: Familiarity with mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.) and knowledge of the full mobile development lifecycle from design to deployment Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Adaptability: A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends, especially in AI and mobile tech.
