What You Will Be Doing
As a Cash Equities Operations Analyst/Sr Analyst you will be responsible for the integration, confirmations and timely settlement of equity trades. The role is client facing and offers many opportunities for internal career advancement.
This is a highly dynamic role in a fast-paced environment where the manager and their team are required to adapt to the changing needs of our clients and the business.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- To be a reference in a team in charge of timely settlement of all equities transactions across global markets in accordance with the various settlement and funding deadlines.
- To deal with clients directly to resolve trade issues and/or escalates as required.
- To identify, analyze and resolve issues and problems throughout trade life cycle, in a close collaboration of our IT colleagues.
- To act as a subject matter expert and take part in the development and successful implementation of systems, processes and relevant projects changes for the Cash Equities group.
- To lead process continuous improvement initiatives.
- To be ready to take broader team management accountabilities as needed.
- +4 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study (business administration or similar)
- Equities product knowledge; experience in the Financial Services environment; equities settlement expertise.
- Analytical and problem solving; strong communication (verbal & written); ability to work in a structured, high volume, time sensitive, high risk and demanding environment; risk management mindset; good problem solver; results oriented; collaboration & team skills, with a focus on cross-group collaboration; prioritization skills; detail oriented.
- Spoken and written English.
- Experience on the management of small teams and Python programming language are a plus.
- The level of the position will be defined according to the candidate's profile.
