We are searching for an Engineering Manager for one of the leading FinTechs in Europe and a category leader in the verticals and markets it operates in.

Position Overview: You will be more than just team leader; you will be the driving force behind their squads' success. You will dedicate to nurturing the professional growth of each squad member, ensuring that the team operates at the pinnacle of technical excellence. You will collaborate closely with our talent acquisition team to attract top-tier talent, playing a key role in company's rapid and robust growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and Inspire: Act as both a people and technical leader for your squad, guiding and inspiring them towards excellence.


• Process Management: Develop and implement effective processes for squad management, including organizing ceremonies and maintaining thorough documentation.


• Cultivate Continuous Improvement: Foster a mindset of continuous improvement within your squad, encouraging them to surpass their own benchmarks.


• Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet and exceed expectations.


• Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to squad members, supporting and guiding their professional development and career growth.


• Talent Acquisition: Play an active role in recruiting top-tier talent, contributing to the elevation of the company's overall standards

Skills/Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience


• English: Advanced / proficient level / Native


• 5-10 years of experience managing engineering teams


• Experience solving problems


• Experience in people management, including hiring, career development and performance management
