Trialing is a digital health startup that was born in Barcelona in 2021 with the mission of providing equal opportunities for access to clinical trials for all patients. Clinical trials are a unique opportunity for patients to access the most innovative treatments or receive treatment when there are no other alternatives available. Our goal is to develop technological tools that enable professionals to offer these trials to all patients.

We have developed a search engine that allows doctors to find clinical trials through an algorithm that mimics the reasoning of a physician. Furthermore, we provide support for patient referrals from one hospital to another. As a result, every day we help many patients gain access to new treatments that they would not have otherwise been able to access.

After two years of progress, with users in over 270 hospitals, we have established ourselves as leaders in Spain and we are now expanding to other countries worldwide. About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned UX/UI Designer with a strong understanding of user-led product design. This role requires a deep focus on comprehending user needs and emotions to craft intuitive and impactful user journeys. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision to our design process, ensuring a seamless and effective user experience across our mobile and web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the UX/UI design process, focusing on understanding user needs both functionally and emotionally.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing to define and refine user journeys.
• Conduct and analyse various user testing experiments, including concept testing, A/B testing, and button testing.
• Utilise insights to enhance user interaction and drive engagement across both mobile and web platforms.
• Develop and iterate on compelling designs that users find rewarding and visually intuitive.
• Work closely with product teams to assess competitive landscapes and user requirements.
• Engage with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver design solutions rapidly that meet technical and consumer needs.
  
  

Qualifications

About You

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX and product design
• Proficiency in English and Spanish; fluency in one and at least general proficiency in the other.
• Proven experience working with development teams in agile environments.
• Experience in engaging directly with customers through interviews, surveys, or focus groups to elicit ideas and feedback.
• Expertise in design tools for mockups such as Figma or Invision.
• Strong analytical skills to quantitative and qualitative experiment results and feedback.
• Experience in healthcare or applications tailored for medical professionals a plus.
• Experience in designing freemium models a plus.
• Familiarity with Flutter and designing for both mobile and web apps a huge plus.
