Background: Verisure is embarking on an exciting new project, the "Media Platform", aimed at revolutionizing the video platform for the Group. This greenfield initiative involves the development of a cloud-native, serverless product leveraging core AWS components. The Media Platform Team (MPT), a hybrid team based in Madrid, Spain and Malmo, Sweden, is spearheading this project alongside the development of next-generation security cameras.

Requirements: To support the expansion of the Media Platform Team, Verisure seeks a skilled partner to augment internal resources. The ideal candidate will integrate seamlessly into the MPT's workflows and tooling, providing development capacity and expertise.

Job Description: We are seeking a Backend Developer / DevOps Engineer with 3-8 years of experience to join the Media Platform Team. The successful candidate will have:

• Substantial experience working with AWS, including proficiency in AWS components such as Kinesis Video Streaming, IOT Core, Lambda, CloudFormation, S3, API Gateway, and Cloudwatch.
• Experience with at scale IOT platforms, preferably including experience with video platforms.
• Proven experience in designing and managing complex cloud infrastructures using CloudFormation, with a valuation of knowledge in SAM (Serverless Application Model).
• Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
• Experience in implementing QA processes and conducting software testing to ensure the reliability and quality of cloud-based applications.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience in configuring and managing monitoring and logging systems, including Prometheus, ELK Stack, and Grafana.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and a DevOps mindset.
• A positive mindset, with a keen interest in designing and building cutting-edge IOT platforms.
• Fluent in English.
