Job Description:
The Role
The role of a resource broker is pivotal in ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of resources across various projects and initiatives with CTG P&T Delivery. The resource broker works with the respective delivery managers and practice leaders to optimize workforce mix, analyze utilization trends, resource needs and monitor key performance indicators.
The resource broker acts as a bridge between delivery managers, practice leads and workforce management.
The key responsibilities include:
- Resource Allocation: supporting delivery managers for employees allocation to projects based on their skills, availability, and project requirements. This involves understanding the capabilities and expertise of each individual within the organization.
- Utilization Monitoring: Tracking the performance and productivity of employees assigned to projects: CATW check (Monthly CATW deadline, CATW follow up for unreported, data integrity check for all resources, CATW set up/support for new hiring),
- Utilization target checkpoint Resources low-utilized review monitoring and review: developing action plans to address identified issues and improve resource utilization. This may involve reallocating resources, providing additional training or support, and optimizing workflows.
- Capacity Planning: Forecasting future resource needs and ensuring that the organization has the right talent in place to meet project demands. This may involve hiring new talent, training existing employees, or reallocating resources as needed.
- Utilization analysis (Forecast vs Actuals, FoF variance) Talent Development: Collaborate with delivery managers to identify skill gaps within each practice and implement strategies for professional development and training to enhance employee skills and capabilities: training plan cost review to be used in Flash,
- Manage Resource Broker tool: the tool facilitates the resource needs of the full organization for the projects, tasks, or initiatives based on predefined criteria such as skills, project requirements, and costs. This ensures that delivery leaders have a full picture of needs and can make decisions to distribute resources effectively to meet project objectives and timelines
- Responsible for approving BP tool requests (first level): review and approve all requests related to resources or services HC flash, checkpoint with WF lead, Delivery Mgrs interlock for HC Flash, supporting for Hiring process & tool.
- CDS focal point of contact: share resource needs, monitor HC list, monthly check point
Education and Experience Required:
- First Level University degree.
- 7 years experience in project management or other delivery or operational roles
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key company Services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management
- Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills to interlock with various international stakeholders
